Pricing of Item
Setting a price for your item can be a tricky matter and one that you should think carefully about.
A good idea would be to check out the prices of other similar items that other sellers are selling on ebay.
By watching what other similar items go for then you can quickly establish how much your item will go for.
Then you can set your price accordingly. Mostly, all sellers set their price extremely low in order for them to attract attention and bids from potential buyers.
Some sellers set an item as low as 99p but you have to be careful if you choose to do this because if you only receive one bid then you will need to sell it for that price and it may be worth much more than that.
However, ebay does provide you with the option of setting a reserve price which means that you can set a low starting price but if bidders do not reach the reserve price you have set then you do not need to sell the item.
The reserve price must be £50 or over so does not apply to lower priced items. This may be a good idea but remember ebay charges you for using this service as well so you must think about it carefully.
